Answers to problems 101 - Gaza edition

I a member of the Instablogs for a while now and had the opportunity to meet and share the ideas of people from all over the world. This community is rewarding to many levels I expect to collaborate and learn from my fellow members. Based on that, I believe that instablogs provide us with the opportunity to learn and probably don’t seems but I spent more time reading that arguing my points... So I created “Answers to problems 101.”

The concept is quite simple and will arrange a diverse number of topics, normally related to current affairs and Humanitarian ideas. I would ask to keep the answers to these questions and not offend anyone for their sincere opinions about these questions.

This is a free speech topic and freedom is to be exercised. Is expected to anyone of any nation and any political view to answer these questions truthfully as you believe. Is encouraged to use your religious views and opinions.

At the end, I will post a response survey based simply on the answers. My opinion will not affect this response. I believe we all can win if collaborate towards a better understanding...

Peace out!

1. Does Israel have the right to exist as a nation/state in Palestine? (A) I believe that Israel already exists and should be a pre-1967 border. I believe that Jerusalem belongs to Humanity and should be open to all under Israeli jurisdiction but UN protection. I believe that Israel, like any other nation is compel to obey the UN and be retaliated if failed to obey. This country was give by UN and Israel should be thank you for such manoeuvre. It has been created and based on sincere grounds by the majority of Humans and so, it should remain faithful to this belief.

Israel is a little of track at moment and is impossible to measure the amount of pressure Israelis and Palestinians alike are suffering right now.

2. Should Palestine become an independent nation based in Gaza? (A) Yes. With time, Palestine should have the same rights as nation/state like Israel. Firstly, it has to be opened for UN inspections and a Western style democracy with no involvement of religion, be it Christian, Hindu or Jewish. State is State. religion is to conform Human souls only.

3. What would be your suggestions to resolve the Gaza conflict? The United nations joint effort to invade and occupy the borders, the retreat of Israeli troops from Gaza and the punishment of any defiance of United nations council for both sides. Also, severe punishment to any other nation supplying weapons for these two nations.

4. Do you think Hamas is correct and is acting to protect the Palestinian people? No. I believe that Hamas is a bunch of chauvinist pigs claiming to be real Muslims to get support of the real Palestinian. I believe there is a mixed feeling of freedom and independence amount naive members of Hamas but the real core of the organisation holds another agenda. Hamas officials hide themselves away from the real conflict, safe and guarded, while the real Palestinian suffers.

5. Does Hamas have the Palestinian support in overall or people are afraid to protest? I believe that Palestinians have the moral obligation to support anything against Israel because they have been brainwashed that way... be it in Mosques or by fundamentalists... I also believe that People are scared to retaliate and condemn Hamas’ actions with fear to be seem as unpatriotic (like some that Americans did when supporting G. W. Bush).

6. Do you believe that Israeli Armed forces have intention to kill innocent people, adults and children alike? why? No. I don’t believe they do but Israel has become a war mongrel in order to psychologically survive its neighbours and must be monitored. I believe that Israel should be made accountable for civilians causalities and public apologise and make sure efforts are made to reduce and eradicate this problem.

7. Do you believe that United Nations is capable to assist the peace talks? I think that United nations is an American puppet and the security council need to be increased to accommodate Brazil, India and China. This will bring a balance. In reality, United Nations need to be tough and punish nations disobeying its resolutions.

8. Who is supporting Hamas and why? Syrians and Iranians. Syrians because they are neighbours. Iranians because they want to shift the focus from their nuclear proliferation, which is unacceptable.

9. Who is supporting Israel and why? The United States and it’s closed allies and people tired of fundamentalists.

10. Do you believe that Arabs and Israelis can co-exist together if religious agenda wasn’t an issue? yes. by force!

1. Yes, absolutely, as much as Palestine has a right to exist.

2. Sure, if they want.. but I’d like to know how they are going to support themselves, considering they are dependent upon Israel and the international community for their economy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_Authority#Economy. But sure go ahead and try.

3. Re-education.

4. No, Hamas is not correct and they could care less about their people, to put it nicely. They want control. They want Israel eliminated and will use their people to achieve that goal.

5. I think they have most of the people’s support, though I am sure there are some that are fearful. After all, they were voted in overwhelmingly. And look at the support Hamas gets, from even people on IB. Yes, it has to do with brainwashing.

6. No, absolutely not. They have no intention of deliberately harming civilians. The fact that Hamas (and other terrorists) have the nasty habit of positioning themselves in civilian areas, is not Israels fault. They did warn the people that they were about to invade, unlike Hamas when they lob their 4,000 plus rockets into Israel.

7. No, the U.N. is a useless organization, but unlike you, i do not believe it is a U.S. puppet, otherwise they would have supported the U.S. attack on Iraq, which it did not. The U.S. is in constant battle with the U.N. and No-one pays attention to their resolutions, and they will never be tough enough to enforce them. Useless. A new entity needs to be created. And frankly, no-one will be able to broker peace until Hamas and Iran and other Arab countries recognize Israel’s right to exist. If some of the people on IB were truly being honest (though some have been) they would admit they too believe Israel should be wiped off the map.

8. Iran (and probably Syria). Why, cos Iran has the same desire to wipe Israel off the map.

9. The U.S. and any freedom loving nation. Why? Because Israel is pretty much the only stable democracy in the region and if Israel goes.. all hell will break loose. and yeah... we’re tired of Islamic extremism and their desires for global domination.

10. Yes. If religion wasn’t an agenda, there would be no need for force because they would have no problems living in peace as neighbours, because the Palestinians wouldn’t be firing rockets into Israel and Israel would have no need to retaliate.
